CHILDREN dressed as chess sets, snakes and ladders and a assortment of added marvellous amateur brightened up Whiteparish at the weekend.
A anniversary of activities in aid of All Saints’ abbey and academy culminated in the carnival and ball on Saturday, with a lath game-themed adorned dress challenge for youngsters.
The adorned dress antagonism award-winning winners were Ivy Lazarus, Noah Tucker and Tamsin Pinckney in the pre-school section, Eve Tucker, Toby Cooper and Amy Tanner in Key Stage 1 and Alex Brown, Leah Flack and Luke Ketteringham in Key Stage 2.
Group prizes went to Ellen Page, Helena Ward, Alice and Lucy Snow, Holly Peterson, Daisy Farmer, Lucy Taylor-Blake as a chess set; James and David Skeates, Louis Rendell, Ben Burgess, Bertie Boxall, Luke Taylor-Blake, Charlie and Ed Davis in Snakes and Ladders and Kate, Emma, Sadie and Joe Franklin with Cluedo.
Artwork prizes went to Sam Reynolds, Bethan Oliver, Joe Oliver, Ailsa Mcwilliam, Amy Tanner, Toby Cooper, Jasmin Gillam, Thomas Reynolds and Emma Deane.
The balladry antagonism was won by Katy Franklin, with Eloise Bishop second.
