Vinay, a sixth-grader from Fresno, won more than $40,000 in banknote and prizes by spelling “marocain,” a French chat for dress bolt fabricated of ribbed crepe. Rohan Rajeev absent the chat “marram,” a Scandinavian-derived chat for bank grass.
