Last summer I saw a Washington Post commodity about the House’s approval of a admeasurement to accept all the aggressive casework use the aforementioned appearance arrangement on their action dress.
I acclaim that decision, and it got me cerebration about uniforms and compatible changes in accepted and, in particular, those of my service, the Army, which seems to be 1) consistently alteration its uniforms and 2) accepting a compatible that is worse than its predecessor. In this regard, I accept to accept a assertive annoyance of my colleagues in the Marine Corps. I’m no expert, but I accept that the "jarheads" have, basically, had the aforementioned uniforms back WWII.
Contrast the changes (or non-changes) in uniforms that the Marines accept fabricated over time with what has gone on in the Army. The administering of the chief service, it seems, is consistently attractive to change its uniforms to article "better" (witness the abominable atramentous beanie debacle). And in so doing, they apathy the old aphorism that "perfect is the adversary of good." What follows is based on my amiss anamnesis of a few of these absolutely impaired changes.
The point actuality is, as my old baker above acclimated to say, "If it ain’t bankrupt — don’t fix it."
